2019 Spring Nationals Trip
Important Dates:
- 4/1 - Deadline to submit the Google Form (linked here)
- 4/2 - IF cuts need to be made we will let everyone know
- 4/5 - If you have not dropped by 8:00 pm, we will consider this a binding financial commitment you will be held to outside of extenuating circumstances. This is also the very last day to switch events.
- 4/10 - Money is due to Megan or Jasper by this date.
- 4/11 - We will be leaving for Erie, PA in the mid-afternoon. Check out the tentative schedule below.
Things to know:
- Hotels will typically have ~7 people per room. Please bring a blanket or sleeping bag as there will be people on the floor.
- Half Runners
- Know the course beforehand. Map and other race info is at clubrunning.org.
- Race starts at 8 am. We will likely leave for the ~45 minute drive around 6am.
- There are festivities afterwards but expect to head to the track at Miami University by 11am.
- Base cost is $80 with $10 off for each of the first three boxes of candy you sold. This is slightly higher than the track runners because the half costs a little more.
- Track Runners
- Scratches must occur over one hour before the race. No-shows will be removed from the rest of the meet and prior races retroactively scratched. Only sign up for races you plan on running.
- You must check-in at the very least 20 minutes before your race.
- Look over the schedule of events on clubrunning.org.
- Only people in the next race/heat are technically allowed on the track/infield.
- Base cost is $70 with $10 off for each of the first three boxes of candy you get.
